Diane Hutchins

Diane Hutchins has been working by, with, and for elected officials for more than 35 years. Currently the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, she began her career in public policy working on the first Senatorial campaign of then-Congressman Paul S. Sarbanes. In the ensuing years, she has worked at the federal, state and local levels of government, for 2 of the three branches, and both Democrats and Republicans in two states. Diane has worked for one State Senator, one U.S. Senator, 2 County Executives, one Board of Commissioners, one Mayor, one State Cabinet Secretary, 1 Police Department, one business public policy organization, and one Medicaid Managed Care Organization. She has lobbied on a full-time basis just shy of 30 years.

An alumna of the Roland Park Country School, Ms. Hutchins serves on its Board of Trustees as well as the Board of the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust. She is a resident of Annapolis, MD.
