A Samuel Ready Scholarship embodies a long tradition that combines quality of secondary education, academic achievement, and financial aid to girls in the Baltimore area. Studies over the years have shown that girls who are provided access to a top high school education go on to drive both businesses and economies forward. This in turn results in improved communities, lower poverty rates and higher GDP. Each year, we provide dozens of donor-funded scholarships to promising young girls in the Baltimore area to help them reach their potential and exceed barriers.
