New Board of Trustees Officers Announced

Samuel Ready Scholarships, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of three new officers to its Board of Trustees.

Jennifer Byers has been elected to serve as President of Samuel Ready Scholarships Board of Trustees. Jennifer joined the board in 2017 and during the past six years has held numerous roles within the organization, most recently serving as Vice President. She brings deep experience in corporate responsibility, philanthropy and social impact.

Deana Frank has been elected to serve as the Vice President of Samuel Ready Scholarships Board of Trustees. Deana has served on the board for nine years and has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising and development. Deana also brings a unique perspective to the board as a Samuel Ready Scholarships alumna and graduate of Friends School of Baltimore.

Robbie Black has been elected to serve as Treasurer of Samuel Ready Scholarships Board of Trustees. Robbie will transition from the Assistant Treasurer role to her new role as Treasurer. Robbie joined the board in 2021 bringing her expertise in corporate financial management.

Sara Orthwein has been elected to continue to serve as Secretary of Samuel Ready Scholarships. Sara joined the board in 2018 and has held numerous leadership positions within the organization. As a teacher, Sara brings her knowledge and experience in the education sector.
